Israel warns the people living in the southern Beirut neighborhood
Residents of a building in the Hadath neighborhood of southern Beirut, as well as the buildings next to it, have received a “urgent warning” from the Israeli army.

Its official spokesperson in Arabic commented on X, saying, “You are located near Hezbollah facilities and interests, against which the [Israeli army] will operate in the near future.”

Warnings such as this have in the recent weeks accompanied violent air attacks on Beirut.

Additionally, the military ordered people in over 20 south Lebanon communities to leave their houses right away on Thursday.

With the most recent alerts, there are now 70 southern communities that are being called for evacuation. Residents claim that the warnings often arrive with little time to make plans to seek refuge.
